The Jobcom ATEX cables have arrived! Instrumentation cables for your EX-d application.

The special construction is what makes these cables unique. Flame retardant to the highest standard, containing non-hygroscopic materials and complying with the restricted breathing test in the Annex E.1. A smart solution for EX-d applications.

In the ATEX standard NEN-EN-IEC 60079-14:2014 new requirements for cables in EX-zones are added. These demands reduce the risk of gas transport through the cable from one zone to another. Annex E.1 describes the test procedure and the requirements for cables used in these zones. Jobarco has developed special test equipment to conduct this test.

Instrumentation cables are much used in EX applications. The standard cables normally do not comply to the Annex E.1 test because of the construction.
